Disaster in Japan

I am sure that you all have heard about the disaster that has struck the country of Japan. As if one natural disaster is not enough, they basically had two back to back of each other. A earthquake that was of the magnitude above a 9 struck the country, then the quake caused a tsunami to occur. These two events have caused so much damage to the country. My thoughts and prayers go out to people in this country and whoever else has been affected by these catastrophic events. It truly is a sad thing to see. I am fearful for the death toll.

As if that was not enough on the country they are now having to worry about the nuclear plants exploding and the damage that the radiation is causing. We can help in so many ways. You may not realize it but you can. If you know an organization that is taking up donations you could donate money to them, even the smallest amount would help. You could help by maybe donating some supplies. The easiest way you could help Japan is just by simply praying for the country daily and everyone that has been affected by it

  1. This is really sad and devastating for the people of Japan. It seems like now something is always happening across the water, I just hope and pray that we are not up for something bad to happen. But us as Americans, of course, have to get up and go out and help the people of Japan. So let's get it!

  2. This is terrible to hear. It reminds of what happened in Katrina. God be with them in this time of struggle. I've never seen so much media coverage and social media ever in my life until now.

  3. The situation in Japan makes you think that anything can happen anywhere even in the U.S. and what's happening in Japan is affecting the whole world. And the nuclear disaster will make things more difficult for the Japanese to recover.

  4. When I watched the videos of the disaster I was in shock. I couldn't believe that was actually happening. As I said in my own blog post about the earthquake/tsunami in Japan, it is great that there are organizations and charities helping in any way they can, but fortunately Japan is a brilliant place because they are clever and resourceful enough to be prepared way in advanced for such a disaster.
