After many days of heavy fighting in the country of Ivory Coast it finally looks like things are beginning to settle down. Just in this semester we have seen so many countries begin to fight within each other. Riots, fights in the streets, people being killed over disputes, we basically have seen it all. With all the bad that has gone on the world over the past 3 months I was thankful to hear this "good" news because it had been a while since we had heard some sort of good news in another country.
Question for you to think and respond to classmates. How close do you think the world is to having another World War? Do you think that the United States would be involved in this World War III? How scared does it make you feel to have to think of the idea about a 3rd World War?
Yes, i think we are very close to having another world war. I think we are super close, like within the next 3 years close. Because everyday things are getting worse and worse. I think the U.S. will be involved, because noone likes the United States anyway, and other countries will do what they can to try and get the U.S. involved just to try to bring us down. I think it will be real scarry, but what can you do but sit back and watch and wait to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the war is always a bad thing not only for country but for people in the world. I cannot imagine what we should do if the war comes to us. We have never been a age which war occurs. So, this is a chanllenge for us to confront and cope with. We can do nothing right now, but I hope it will not happen forever.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty scary to think that another world war could be on the brink of happening. The US is such a powerful country that whether we are directly effected or are allies to another country it's hard not to see the US not involved in some manner. But as you think about it, just in this semester alone there has been alot of world turmoil in various countries. I think this will continue like a dominoe effect. Most likely if some countries continue to have success with their governments, those countries who haven't had change yet will start a uproar so I hope to see world peace one day, but it won't happen anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteI really believe that not only will we be involved in another world war, but it could be soon. The book of Revelations in the bible predicts what is going on right now. Honestly, its really scary, but I know God will take care of us!! :)
