In my opinion I do believe that social media could have played a role with some of these protests. Iranians could have seen what was going on in Egypt, then saw where there president resigned, so in return Iranians are going to begin protesting to try and get what they want from their government. The protests are huge as tens of thousands of people are protesting in the Iranian country of Tehran. While the protests in Iran did start out as silent protests they are now beginning to display violence. With what is being shown on televison it is clear to see that these are scary times we are living in.

You are right, I think social media can and has played a vital part in the Iranian protest. I look at it like a domino effect. One country has success in an intense situation, another country sees the way justice was obtained, and they feel it's there time for change. If the Iranian people see a change in there government, look for other countries to start protest and riots.

Im going to stand on this and that you are going to see more riots in the Middle East taking down powerful dictators. Europe will be next, England is for a revolution. We have American citizens that want massive riots due because of Egypt.
ReplyDeleteI agree!! It is getting scary! Every media outlet you turn on all you see are angry people who want change... So saying that, something needs to change! The more we talk about it in church, the more I'm realizing the book of Revelation and the situation the world is in is very similiar, and its quite nerve-racking.

Social media plays a key role in our life, we can find it from Egypt protest. People want to make news out of country and make something different. They want changes in their life. You are right, Egypt is the first one, maybe next is Arab or some country in Middle East. Those country need to be changed. People in those countries need some change as well. You can view my blog if you like. I just got the news that the youth in Arab have problems in their jobs.
